About Us

The Suffolk Food Partnership (SFP) Steering Group was established to provide strategic direction and leadership for the partnership’s initiatives. It was formed by engaged stakeholders who came forward following the first partnership meeting in July 2024. The partnership is currently coordinated by Community Action Suffolk (CAS) under the Community Food Partnership Program, which is funded by Suffolk Public Sector Leaders. The Steering Group’s primary responsibilities are to:

  • Setting up and monitoring the KPIs of the partnership
  • Develop strategic objectives and implement actions to achieve these
  • Ensure the partnership remains focused and effective
  • Address both short-term and long-term goals, balancing immediate needs  with systemic change.
  • Promote collaboration across sectors, and guide working groups toward the collective goals of the partnership.
