Visionary and community-led, the Suffolk Food Partnership is catalysing a countywide movement for healthy, sustainable, and locally rooted food. Born in November 2023 from the Suffolk Community Food Project, an initiative funded by Suffolk Public Sector Leaders and aligned with the Suffolk County Council’s Tackling Poverty Action Plan, the Partnership brings together over 60 stakeholders from across the food system, from farmers to community groups, since its inaugural gathering in July 2024. With dedicated sub-groups tackling local production, food education and culture, food waste, and food insecurity, Suffolk is now, officially part of Sustainable Food Places.
